# Update comment

PATCH https://api.frame.io/v4/accounts/{account_id}/comments/{comment_id}

Update comment on given asset. Rate Limits: 10 calls per 1.00 minute(s) per account\_user

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

## Types

### UpdateCommentParamsData

- `annotation` (string, optional, nullable) — JSON geometry for on-screen drawings. Allowed for document, image, video, or stream file types. JSON must be stringified.
- `completed` (boolean, optional, nullable) — Comment completion status
- `page` (integer, optional, nullable) — Document page. Only allowed when file type is a pdf document
- `text` (string, optional) — Comment text
- `timestamp` (double, optional, nullable) — Comment frame number in media. Only allowed when file type is 'audio', 'stream', or 'video'.
