# Copy file

POST https://api.frame.io/v4/accounts/{account_id}/files/{file_id}/copy

Copy file. Rate Limits: 100 calls per 1.00 minute(s) per account\_user

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.

- `parent_id` (string, optional) — Destination folder ID. Defaults to file parent ID.
